Welcome to the brand new Torrch website. We’re still touching up a few minor details, but we are happy to have a website that fully represents who we are and what we offer as a company. Up until now, we’ve operated under a few different names that you might recognize.
While Torrch has always been set as the name of our web platform, we have also offered web design and development under Radiate Digital. Additionally, there was Launch Runner, which offered all-in-one website services focused specifically on local SMBs. At the end of 2019, we then acquired BlueEarth Innovation, a web and app development company located in the Twin Cities.
Over the past year, we’ve been working behind the scenes to cohesively bring all of our individual branches under a singular brand and vision. That time has finally come. Today, we are simply Torrch, a development and design company dedicated to helping businesses, non-profits, and churches connect and grow.
We are doing this in a few different ways.
Before we get to that, however, we would like any current clients to know that the same services and people you’ve come to enjoy are remaining in place. This brand update is simply to improve transparency and allow our different departments to work together more cohesively. Speaking of, there are three primary divisions to Torrch: Torrch Local, Torrch Labs, and the Torrch Platform.
The Torrch Platform
At the heart of everything we’re doing, there is the Torrch app. This is a web platform designed to connect local churches, non-profits, and Christians so that they can better serve their communities and make a difference on both a local and global scale. Though beta versions of Torrch have been tested in the past, the new Torrch app is the true realization of the vision we’ve always had for our platform.
At launch, Torrch will allow individuals to find volunteer opportunities within churches and local non-profits. Professionals will be able to share their services and find work within their local Christian community. Churches will have more convenient ways to connect with both existing members and individuals looking for a church.
Safe, secure, easy-to-use chat functionality is built right into the app, so you don’t have to worry about playing phone tag or moving a conversation to a social media platform. Our goal is to allow believers to cultivate community all within the Torrch app itself.

Torrch Local is a web design service that we’ve specifically designed for small businesses and non-profits. Formerly known as Launch Runner, Torrch Local makes it easy to have a beautiful website that’s mobile and SEO friendly. Rather than having separate companies design, develop, host, and manage your website, we bundle everything together under one roof.
Not only is this much simpler, but it’s more affordable.
With Torrch Local, you won’t have to worry about paying thousands of dollars upfront. Instead, we’ve designed our services to fit into a variety of monthly plans that can work with virtually any budget. Though the price might be small, we assure you that the experience is premium.
All Torrch Local websites can be customized to meet your needs and brand. Our team works hand-in-hand with you to fill-in all of the necessary pieces, and once we have your approval, we launch it for you. From there, our support team is here to make updates and content changes for no additional charge. Our websites are hosted on high-quality servers, so you won’t have to worry about your site bogging down or crashing when people are trying to visit it.
In addition to our website plans, businesses and non-profits have access to a free Torrch membership. This allows you to be found on the Torrch app by local people looking for businesses or organizations just like yours.
Torrch Labs
For those who have more custom needs, we have Torrch Labs. Torrch Labs is essentially a combination of our Radiate Digital and BlueEarth Innovation teams, creating a digital innovation studio that’s as passionate about design as they are development. With Torrch Labs, we offer a true collaborative experience that turns basic ideas into stunning reality.
The Labs team has extensive experience working for companies and organizations of all shapes and sizes. You might recognize a few of our past clients: 3M, University of Minnesota, General Mills, Wooddale Church. We don’t share these names to intimidate you but to simply let you know that if you have a development need, we have the skills to handle it.

Different Branches. One Vision.
Though we offer many services at Torrch, there is a singular reason why we do everything that we do, and that is to be a light to the world. It’s why our name is Torrch. By doing this, we hope to empower those around us to then be a light to those around them.
This isn’t an idea we thought of ourselves if we’re being honest. It actually comes from the Book of Matthew in the Bible:
You are the light of the world—like a city on a hilltop that cannot be hidden. No one lights a lamp and then puts it under a basket. Instead, a lamp is placed on a stand, where it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your good deeds shine out for all to see, so that everyone will praise your heavenly Father.
Whether we’re building a website for a small business or helping a church find volunteers for an outreach, we want to honor God with the gifts we’ve been given while spreading the love of Jesus. After everything that has happened in the past year, we believe this is something the world needs now more than ever.
